We have been experiencing problems with network connectivity affecting our Mail Server and some web applications. During any outages inbound email should be spooled and available as soon as the system is back online. Our provider believes it is a line issue and is in the process of testing our lines and will update us by 4PM Pacific, 3/26/2007. Update 7:09PM - This issue occured two times today for less than 10 minutes and has not occurred since. We are still having the provider test our lines to insure optimal performance. Update 6:13AM, 3/28/2007. This issue has continued sporadically since Monday. AT&T says it's a cabling issue and they believe it is in a splice buried across the street from our location. They have referred the issue to their construction and will be addressing it this morning. Update 7:38PM, 3/28/2007. We were off and on the phone with our provider today. AT&T has been dropping the ball. They had several normal technicians onsite to all come to the same conclusion. They are supposed to be referring it to their line technicians now. We are presently working on contingencies and a work around. We will update this article as soon as there is more information. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you. Update 9:15PM, 3/28/2007. We have put in place a work around for email, some web services will still be affected. Email will be gradually coming back online overnight as some changes propogate. Email may seem quite a bit slower, especially with attachments as it will be operating on the backup connection. Update 9:25AM, 3/29/2007. AT&T resolved the issue with the lines during the night. Thank you for your patience. All services are operational. |
