It was brought to our attention Monday of this week, October 22nd that messages sent through our server our being rejected by Hotmail. We've opened a ticket with Microsoft to resolve the matter. The issue is likely related to our "new" address since we relocated to Hurricane Electric's Fremont II facility over the past weekend. Please check back here for updates on this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience. In the meantime we suggest if you need free email accounts like hotmail you can try Yahoo! or Google's Gmail. Update 10/23/2007 06:45PM. We've exchanged several emails with Microsoft customer support on this issue. They seem to be confused about how this happened. They don't appear to understand that the IP address that was abused in the past was not in our possession prior to 10/21/2007. We have requested they forward any record of abuse since 10/21/2007. This article will be updated as soon as we have any news from Microsoft on the matter. Update 10/24/2007 04:13PM. After some assistance from he.net and some persistent pressure Microsoft has reviewed the issue and resolved to remove the blockage. They advised us it will take 24-48 hours to resolve. We appreciate your patience. Update 10/28/2007 06:58PM. This issue has been verified to be resolved completely, if you experience the issue again please notify us. |
